The Sky
By: Mary Ann B. Temonio
I look at the sky from beyond the clouds
Bluish as ever so peaceful it can be proud
I longed to look at it reflecting the crowd
I could hardly hold back the tears I cried out loud
I plea to look at the sky once and for more
Which I used to do alone and wild before
How I miss the time over the galaxy exploring
When crossing the way out imagining
In a blink one’s eye a smile splash
As I walk down into a wild bush
Seems alike before never that long
Since I remember where I belong
Time passer fleeting softly know it mean so dare
I found the meaning too late they say so clearly
It encompasses over the sky again sparingly
As if nothing had happened that day
They do not know its color unless focusing directly
With the sky I cannot forget to stay
Living happy of a lifetime away
Bluish as ever so peaceful it can be proud
I longed to look at it reflecting the crowd
I could hardly hold back the tears I cried out loud
I plea to look at the sky once and for more
Which I used to do alone and wild before
How I miss the time over the galaxy exploring
When crossing the way out imagining
In a blink one’s eye a smile splash
As I walk down into a wild bush
Seems alike before never that long
Since I remember where I belong
Time passer fleeting softly know it mean so dare
I found the meaning too late they say so clearly
It encompasses over the sky again sparingly
As if nothing had happened that day
They do not know its color unless focusing directly
With the sky I cannot forget to stay
Living happy of a lifetime away
